Husband, father, community organizer and advocate originally from Cameroon who is passionate about building strong and empowered communities. Founder and president of the Black Advocacy Coalition, founding president of the Global Shapers Hub in Yellowknife, founding member of Black CAN and policy and government advisor with the Tłı̨chǫ Government.

Lived experience

Person with partial vision loss due to uveitis caused by toxoplasmosis, chronic migraines and anxiety.

Key areas of interest in advocacy

Equity-oriented health care and patient-partnered inclusive care. The health care needs of people in the Northwest Territories. 

What I hope to bring to the Patient Voice

Passion for health care reform that includes using race-based aggregated data to inform health care processes and outcomes and redesign health education curricula. Commitment to work toward greater patient-partnered care delivery.
