Physician health quick facts: Key factors affecting health and wellness for residents

Results from the 2017 CMA National Physician Health Survey show higher rates of burnout, depression and lifetime suicidal ideation among residents than among other physicians. This follow-up analysis identifies the behavioural and occupational factors that affect the wellness of medical residents.
