The National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace is a set of voluntary guidelines and resources to help organizations promote mental health and prevent psychological harm at work. The Standard is framed around recognizing and taking action on 13 psychosocial factors that can affect the mental health of employees. The first of its kind in the world, the Standard was championed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada and developed by the Canadian Standards Association and the Bureau de normalisation du Québec.
